How to Change Networks in MetaMask?
Here is a quick guide to help you understand how to change networks in MetaMask. As an example, we’ll see how I change my network from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain Network.
Open MetaMask and log in with your password
Click on the networks option
At the top center of the extension, you’ll find your current network. By default, it would be the Ethereum mainnet. Click on that.
Switch to the network.
You’ll find your previously added networks here. Click on the network you want to switch to. We, in this case, want to switch to the Binance smart chain or BSC network. So, we’ll click on that(the one with the symbol BNB).
Add network
If you don't find the network you want to switch to in the list of available networks, you can take the help of this
article to add a new network in MetaMask and switch to that.
In case it doesn’t work.
If the reason behind you changing the network is to access the funds and you are unsure where they are. Then you should consider changing accounts in MetaMask. Here is the article (hyperlink) that would help you do so.
